Intermediate Burlesque

Express Yourself! This term we’re turning up the energy with one of Madonna’s most iconic tracks.

Get ready for a fast, fun and seriously upbeat burlesque routine to “Express Yourself”, combining sexy choreography, attitude, musicality and plenty of Madonna-inspired performance.

This course is for anyone who has completed our Beginners course or has previous burlesque or dance experience and wants to take their dancing and performance to the next level.

Over the 6 weeks, you’ll work on:

🔥 Intermediate Burlesque Technique
Build on your existing skills with more challenging choreography, sharper musicality, dynamic transitions and stronger performance quality.

💃 Express Yourself!
Learn a full routine to Express Yourself, packed with energetic choreography, sexy movement, attitude and some serious Madonna energy.

🎭 Performance & Stage Presence
Work on musicality, expression, character and performance quality, learning how to really sell the choreography and own the stage.

✨ Strength, Confidence & Body Awareness
Continue developing coordination, flexibility, posture, core strength and body awareness while becoming more confident in your movement.

And we’re not just learning the routine and leaving it in the studio…

🎬 It’s showtime!

The course finishes with an in-studio performance on Tuesday 8th December, where you’ll put your Express Yourself routine on stage and show off everything you’ve learned over the 6 weeks.

It’s all part of the course — so come ready to dance, perform, have fun and EXPRESS YOURSELF!
