Advanced Burlesque

Strike a pose!

This term we’re taking on one of Madonna’s most iconic performances — Vogue.

Get ready for a sharp, stylish and seriously fun advanced burlesque routine inspired by Madonna’s legendary Vogue era. Expect attitude, precision, strong lines, sexy movement and plenty of iconic poses.

This course is designed for experienced burlesque dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, push their performance skills and take their choreography to the next level.

Over the 6 weeks, you’ll work on:

🔥 Advanced Burlesque Technique
Push your technique further with more complex choreography, musicality, transitions, precision and dynamic performance.

💃 Vogue
Learn a full routine to Madonna’s iconic “Vogue”, combining burlesque with sharp, stylised movement, iconic poses and plenty of attitude.

🎭 Performance & Stage Presence
Develop your ability to command the stage, play with character and really sell the choreography. At this level, it’s not just about learning the steps — it’s about how you perform them.

✨ Lines, Control & Musicality
Work on precision, body control, musical accents, dynamics and the details that make a performance stand out.

🎬 It’s showtime!

The course finishes with an in-studio performance on Tuesday 8th December, where you’ll perform your Vogue routine and put all of your hard work from the term onto the stage.

So get ready to strike a pose, turn up the attitude and Vogue!
