Guided by Lisa Darling, Artistic Director of The Irish Burlesque Academy, this workshop invites you to connect with your body through the elegant techniques and rich history of traditional burlesque performance. You’ll explore the foundational vocabulary of the golden era — from isolations and controlled undulations to the dynamic contrast between the bump and the grind — all while refining your sense of rhythm, stage presence, and musicality.

In each 45 minute class we will work on various Showgirl & Fosse style walks and techniques which will help to strengthen your posture and give you a great workout at home. We will also focus on learning some exciting new choreography that will add some sass and a bit of extra pizazz to your repertoire and brighten up your day!
