Get ready to release your inner Showgirl or Showboy and learn to move like Bob Fosse in this 6 week Fosse Showgirl course for Intermediate & Advanced students. If you have ever seen Sweet Charity or Chicago (All that Jazz) then you know about Fosse! This Iconic style changed the way the world saw dance on stages and in Film.
In this course we will work on various Showgirl & Fosse style walks and techniques which will help to strengthen your posture and give you a great workout. We will also focus on learning some exciting new choreography in a showstopping routine. (Different to the Online Workshop)
What will I learn?
Each class will start with a full body warm – up along with strengthening & conditioning exercises. Each week you will learn a different combination of Fosse technique expanding your Fosse style repertoire. We will then work on a Fosse style Routine and add on to this every week. This course is full of content and choreography and well worth taking part in, especially if you enjoy the Fosse Style.
How do I see the classes?

You will be sent links to all 6 classes. You will be able to log in to and have unlimited access for 12 weeks from booking. so you can do the class at whatever time suits you. The classes are pre-recorded. We will also send you the full music play list of the classes to practice & enjoy and also give you access to a private Facebook group for the Workshop.
*We will also be available to answer any questions on anything in the classes and help with any problems or difficulties you are having with the choreography*

2 hour Workshop per week
Thursdays 12th, 19th, 26th March & 2nd of April
This course is designed for each student in the group to create a new solo or duo Act that will debut at our Summer Show on the 13th of June. Students will be guided step by step to create a piece that will enhance their creativity and allow them the opportunity to develop an Act in their own unique style.
By workshopping ideas and characters each week students will explore different forms of performance and also work on story telling and creating choreography.
The group will play around with spontaneity and also learn how to connect with any audience. We will also film your performances each week for you to study. This special course if fantastic for anyone who wants to improve as a performer and push themselves out of their comfort zones and raise your performances to the next level.
There will be homework each week in order to get the most out of your new act and be able to explore and develop as much as possible in each workshop.
The course will also be followed up by a one to one session /rehearsal with Lisa.
How to apply?
To apply for a place on the course you must be an Advanced student.
